This percussion sextet combines live performance and pre-recorded electronics in a colorful way - highlighting elements of groove, color, and unique instrument combinations. The use of lighting effects adds a mild theatrical element, which accentuates certain aspects of the program.

With much of today’s pop-culture fixated on a “zombie apocalypse," this work presents a musical soundscape that captures an abstract depiction of the “final moments." To place the events in present time, I decided that the pre-recorded material should mainly consist of musical representations of current pop culture (such as dance/house music, dubstep, etc) as well as typical sounds often associated with the zombie culture.
